Commissioning the project, Imoke said the N400 million project was part of effort to boost electricity infrastructure to enhance service delivery at the resort.
Imoke said the project, valued at more than N400 million, would ensure “ total removal of the cost of running the resort on power generating set.
“This modest effort will ensure that power to the facility will increase tremendously, while services will improve to meet the needs of its customers.
“This is because huge sum is spent on diesel to operate the facilities, including cable cars.”
Imoke restated his administration’s policy to take government to closer to people, adding that as power improves, both services at the resort and host community’s business and lifestyle will also improve.
The governor also commissioned other electrification projects at Anyikang, Bekwarra Local Government Area and Inyima community in Yakurr Local Government Area of the state.(NAN)
