…Describes Lawan As True Democrat, Patriot

By Chibuike Nwabuko

Abuja (Sundiata Posta) – Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe state has felicitated with the Senate President and Chairman of the National Assembly, Senator Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan on the auspicious occasion of his 61st birthday.

Disclosing this to newsmen on Sunday, the governor’s Senior Special Assistant (Media and Publicity), Ismaila Uba Misilli informed that governor Inuwa in a goodwill message he personally signed, described the senate President as a true democrat, patriot and progressive leader who has brought to bear his academic and political acumen in the discharge of his responsibility to the admiration of all well meaning Nigerians.

He said, ” Mr. Senate President, we in Gombe State, the Northeast and indeed Nigerians as a whole are proud of your sterling leadership of the National Assembly which has helped greatly in stabilising the polity, deepening democracy and building the nation”.

“As your family, friends and well wishers join you to  mark your birthday, we wish you Allah’s guidance, protection and  more blessings as you continue to preside over the apex legislative body and help to build a united senate and enduring legislature that will be the pride of Africa”.
