The Lagos State Government says the 11-storeyed Isalegangan Towers and Gardens Luxury blocks of flats are ready.
The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Urban Development, Mrs.Yetunde Onabule, stated that the buildings were developed with designs that met aesthetics of modern structures.
Onabule, in a statement on Sunday, said, “They have amenities such as four overhead tanks, three industrial boreholes, water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, combined 200 KVA generator, fitted kitchens, aluminum casement windows, car parks, community facilities, among others.”
According to the governor’s aide, the property is located on Lagos Island and bounded by Isalegangan, Isale Agbede and Binuyo streets, linking to Idumagbo Avenue which flows into the Nnamdi Azikwe Street and Adeniji Adele Road.
Onabule added that 12 families, who owned the 2311.55 square-metre property, had been compensated through the Lagos State Urban Renewal Agency, temporarily relocated, and would be resettled in parts of the new buildings.
“The Lagos State Government has also approved the sum of N360.8m to be paid to all the families as compensation for their rights of occupancy in respect of their property which were revoked for the project,” she added.
