Makurdi –  The Benue -elect, Dr Samuel Ortom, said he would first 100 days in for .

Ortom said this when five former Peoples (PDP) governorship aspirants in the state visited and congratulated him in Makurdi on Friday.

He said that if the were united they could do much more if they went their separate ways.

Ortom to tap the talents of all the of the state irrespective of their ethnicity, political and religious affiliations to enable him move the state forward.

The -elect said the aspirants were experienced and patriotic citizens of the state, adding that he would rely on them in order to deliver the dividends of .[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]

He said that doors remained open to the former aspirants to enable them offer suggestions on what could be done as well as correcting him if he went wrong.

Earlier, Mr Hingah Biem, while congratulating Ortom, urged him to reconcile the of the state, transform the state and initiate policies that would encourage , particularly youth to respect constituted authorities.

Biem said the people of the state had spoken and that they had accepted their verdict.

He said the other contestants had resolved to give the -elect the needed to enable him to succeed. (NAN)
