Nouakchott -The Heads of State and Governments from member countries of the Pan-African initiative, Green Great Wall (GGW), on Tuesday appealed to the U.S. to lift the sanctions it imposed on Sudan.
Sudan has been groaning under U.S. economic sanctions for over 20 years.
At the close of the third conference of the organisation, the members said the U.S. sanctions had negative economic and security consequences that could compromise the achievement of the Pan-African project of the GGW.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
