ATHENS – A Greek sailor was killed on Monday after a fighter jet bombed a Libyan tanker docked at the eastern Libyan port city of Derna, the Greek Merchant Marine Ministry said in a statement.
The sailor, aged 29, was working on the Greek-owned, Libyan-flagged Araevo, at the time of the bombing along with 25 other crew members.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]

However, officials said they had no other information on the bombing.
Libya has in recent months seen its worst violence since the ouster of longtime dictator Moamer Gaddafi in a 2011 armed revolt. (dpa/NAN)
