Engr. Jator Abido, Secretary, Comrade Kede Michael and Board of Trustee, Engr. Bekes Apere.
“We congratulate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his successful inauguration and assumption of office as the 16th President of Nigeria.
“We appeal to the President to work closely with the current Managing Director of the NDDC, Chief Samuel Ogbuku, and Governing Board of the Commission to achieve the desired goals.
“This will bring about the much desired change the Niger Delta region needs for peace, security and development of not just the region but Nigeria at large.”
The group stated that in spite of challenges facing Niger Delta, it was confident in the President’s ability to address the challenges and chart the way forward towards restructuring and true federalism.
It sad that the President’s decision to remove fuel subsidy was commendable, urging him to work towards revamping the three existing government’s refineries to ensure the steady supply of petroleum products.
