Dr. Omolabake Okunubi, a representative of GSK revealed that until recently, awareness in Nigeria about Asthma was relatively such that people were not aware that the could be controlled.

According to Dr. Okunubi, although there is cure for asthma, it can be effectively controlled, hence the need for increased awareness campaigns so that people be informed on how to prevent and as well control it.
