Unknown gunmen Thursday attacked the Langtang North residence of former FCT minister, Lt General Jeremiah Useni (rtd) petting the wall of the house with several bullets.
The gunmen were said to have stormed the compound of the General and started shooting sporadically, trying to force their way into the building.

Confirming the incident, the Public Relations Officer of the Plateau State Police command, Abu Emmanuel, who spoke to our reporter said at the early hours of Thursday gunmen stormed the residence of Useni and started shooting sporadically.
According to him, “when we were notified, a troop was deployed swiftly to the residence and the attackers were repelled; no casualty was recorded.” (Thisday)
