Armed men have reportedly attacked Tsiga community in Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State, kidnapping several residents, including retired Brigadier General Maharazu Tsiga.
According to Leadership Newspapers, the assailants stormed the community around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5, causing panic among residents.
General Tsiga previously served as the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) from January 2009 to September 2011.
Sources within the community confirmed that security agencies have been alerted, and efforts are underway to rescue the kidnapped victims and track down the attackers.
