The 2022/23 season of the UEFA champions League is fully underway. Some of European football’s finest attackers (with notable exception of the competition’s all-time top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo) will attempt to win the famous “Big Ear” for their club and finish as top scorer in May 2023.
The 2022/23 edition of the UEFA Champions League will feature some of the competition’s greatest ever goal scorers with the likes of Karim Benzema, Robert Lewandowski and Lionel Messi trying to extend their impressive goal scoring statistics in Europe’s premier club competition. The competition also features some of the most talented youngsters from across Europe spearheaded by the dynamic duo of Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland who are both considered the Future of football.
These forwards haven’t failed to impress as Lionel Messi, Lewandowski, Erling Halaand and Kylian Mbappe have collectively broken numerous records just two match days into the new season.
The current top scorers are Robert Lewandowski, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland who are on three goals each after two matches. While the 10 second best top scorers are Marian Shved, Piotr Zieliński, Alexis Saelemaekers, Mislav Oršić, Noah Okafor, Leroy Sané, Mohammed Kudus, Jude Bellingham, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Richarlison Andrade all on two goals each.
