Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Hoodlums on Saturday afternoon have allegedly invaded All Saints Anglican Church Polling Units in the Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo state.
It was learnt that the hoodlums went to where some party people were sharing money and snatched it from them. Voters at the scene and observers including journalists were said to have fled as the hoodlums operated unchallenged.
The Presiding officers abandoned the electoral materials and ran to the back corner, açcording to eyewitnesses.
No injury recorded as the hoodlums made away the money from the place which had four polling units.
