I am in politics to transform Oyo, says Makinde

Ibadan- Mr Seyi Makinde, the Social Democratic Party(SDP) governorship candidate in Oyo State, says he is in politics to rescue the state from under-development.

He told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Ibadan that he remains committed to taking the state to greater heights.

Makinde, who said that the state needed fresh ideas, lamented the slow pace of development in the state.

“The state needs fresh ideas which I am very prepared to offer. The former governors and the present have tried their best but it is not enough,” he said.
