Lagos- Divine Oduduru, a silver medalist at the 2014 World Junior Championships on Sunday said he would work on his time recorded at the Dr D.K. Olukoya U-17 and U-20 Athletics Championships.
The event held between Feb. 6 and Feb. 7 at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
Oduduru, whose personal best in 100m is 10.30 secs, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that he was not happy with the 10.68 secs he recorded.
He said that though the season was just starting, he didn’t expect to record such timing.

“Although this is the first race of the season, I am not impressed because I was expecting something better.
“But with what I have got now, by the time we go for the next competition, I will be able to break the time,” Oduduru said.
He also said that he hoped to win two gold medals at the forthcoming African Junior Championships scheduled for March.4 to March. 8 in Addus-Ababa.
“I am promising Nigerians and my fans that I will not disappoint them. I will win gold medals in the 100m and 200m,” Oduduru said. (NAN)
