“The changing landscape in the country occasioned by technical advancement, political dynamism, the effects of the social media and the economic situation calls for a closer monitoring of organisations to ensure transparency and accountability.”
He urged all the stakeholders to support the unit and the commission in the fight against corruption.
Dr Wiza Inusa, the Medical Director of the hospital, said that any system where corruption flourished was bound to fail.
He, therefore, called on all staff of the centre to shun corruption in all its ramifications as the unit would not spare any one irrespective of his or her position.
The body is led by Mr Ben Namagri.
The committee is mandated to carry out anti-corruption crusade in the institution for four years. (NAN)
