The quest for treatment against the Ebola Virus Disease has brought to our knowledge the existence of the following drugs; ZMapp, Nanosilver,
Favipiravir and many more to be announced.
The ZMapp, an experimental drug, was used on two Americans who contracted the virus and they got well. Still, their survival cannot certainly be attributed to the experimental drug. However, a Liberian doctor, Abraham Borbor, died of the EVD despite taking ZMapp. This further confirms that the survival of the US patients was not a credit to the experimental drug.

Besides, in Nigeria, five persons (seven now) have been discharged after conducting tests to confirm their survival from the EVD, and none of them was treated with ZMapp nor any of the experimental drugs.
It can thus easily be deduced that the IMMUNE SYSTEM plays the greatest role in fighting the deadly virus. Hence, to build the immune system, one advises the public to consume plenty of fresh fruits, eat good food and maintain good hygiene. The fruits are required to supply us with Vitamin C, since Vitamin C affects positively components of human immune system amongst which is the increase in interferon level in increased Vitamin C concentration.
