OWERRI (Sundiata Post) – Owelle Rochas Okorocha, immediate past governor of Imo State, on Wednesday shunned the swearing-in of his successor, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, the Imo State capital.
Okorocha’s estranged deputy, Prince Eze Madumere, was, however, present.
The deputy governor-elect, Gerald Irona, was sworn in at 10.53am while Ihedioha, accompanied by his wife, Mrs Ebere Ihedioha, took oath of office at exactly 11.03am.
