LINGO – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Friday said the distribution of Permanent Voter Cards in the six local government areas of Taraba would begin from Oct. 24 to 26.
Mr Austin Okojie, the Resident Electoral Commissioner who announced this to newsmen in Jalingo, said the distribution was going to cover the areas affected by communal and religious crisis. [eap_ad_2]
He, however, said that the distribution was sequel to information from the security agencies that peace had since returned to the affected communities.
The affected councils include Wukari, Takum, Bali, Gassol, Donga and Ibi. (NAN) [eap_ad_3]
