ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reiterated the need to adhere to the directive on the use of staff identity cards and visitors tag while in the premises of the Commission.
The Commission’s Director of Security, Shettima Ngiladar, in a memo to the staff on Monday in Abuja, said “it is necessary for our staff to wear their staff identity cards and our visitors must hang their visitors tag”.
He advised that only staff and visitors who wear their staff ID cards and tags properly should be attended to. “The Directorate is of the opinion that one of the best ways to enforce the directive is for you to insist on attending to only staff and visitors who wear their staff ID cards and tags properly,” he said.
Mr. Shettima Ngiladar further stressed that: “visitors who come to your office with tags meant for other floors other than your own may also be refused attention as such visits are not captured in the security log books.
