Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the guidelines for the nationwide display of register of voters which it says run from 12th to 25th of November 2022.
According to the electoral umpire, during that display exercise, any person may; make claim that the name of a registered voters has been omitted on the register, make corrections on his or her personal details on the register, raise an objection on the inclusion of the name of any person not qualified to vote on the register and raise an objection on the inclusion of the name of a deceased person on the register.
Sundiara Post reports that also released is the procedure for hearing claims, objections and complaints on the preliminary register of voters.
The INEC further disclosed that the guideline for Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) and the forms EC2, EC3 and EC3A are available from their website. Adding that the hard copies of the forms can be obtained from their local Government offices nationwide.
