The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Monday met behind closed doors with the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai.
The meeting was held inside the Presidential Villa, as security situation continues to worsen across the country. It came at a time when bandits and kidnappers are holding Nigerians hostage in parts of the country.
Buratai however told State House correspondents at the end of the meeting that the security agencies need the support of all Nigerians to address the security challenges.
He said 90 percent of the criminals are Nigerians and they live among the people.
