…Says Tinubu”s government is poised to reverse the down trend the economy has taken

Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Tajudeen Abbas has said that time has come for us to demand accountability from our Security Chief in view of the volume of money that have been voted for the fight against insecucurity.
Speaker Abbas stated this on Thursday at a World Press Conference held at the House of Representatives Complex, Abuja on pressing national issues.
The Speaker also charged all Nigerias and stakeholders to take part in the security summit that is scheduled to hold in couple of weeks to come.
This is also as the Speaker has assured that President Bola Tinubu’s administration is poised to reverse the down trend the economy has taken in the recent times.
According to him, there is no better time to address the issue of insecurity in our country than now. He said the military hardware acquired recently by the federal government is an indication that the Tinubu government is irrevocably committed to address the issue of insecurity.
Abbas further said that the security summit coming up will be different from the previous ones because this is going to be organised in conjuction with the Executive, and at such the outcome will be implemented.
