TEL AVIV (Sundiata Post) – The Iraeli military said early on Tuesday that its Air Force attacked a group of armed terrorists in the West Bank.
A fighter jet targeted the “terrorists’’ in the area of Tamun in the Jordan Valley, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said on X.
Details were not initially provided.
No less than three Israelis had been killed and eight other people injured in an attack in the northern West Bank, according to Israeli rescue workers.
A suspected Palestinian attacker had fired at a bus from a vehicle in al-Funduq, west of the city of Nablus, and was said to be on the run along with another individual, media reported.
“We will find the abhorrent murderers and settle accounts with them and with all those who aided them,’’ Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement.
The already tense situation in the West Bank severely worsened after the Hamas-led massacre of around 1,200 people in Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, triggering the Gaza war. (dpa/NAN
