These are the compulsory books/novels to read for JAMB UTME and Direct Entry Aptitude Test for 2017. The names of the books have been released by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board. The books will be used for general test to be taken by UTME and DE candidates.
Below are the new books announced by JAMB. All candidates are to pay for it during their registration. They will be tested on this books for the 2017/2018 admission exercise.
Recommended, Compulsory Book For JAMB UTME & Direct Entry – 2017
Candidates are to note that irrespective of their choice of course of study or method of testing, they will also be tested on these two general books.
The name of the general books are; “In Dependence” by Sarah Ladipo Manyika for UTME candidates and “The Last Days at Forcados High School” by A.H. Mohammed for Direct Entry candidates.
These two books are to be read by all candidates in preparation for the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, irrespective of the course of study you have chosen. What this means is that, even if you have chosen Petrochemical Engineering, Medicine & Surgery, Food Science and Technology, you must read this book for UTME 2017 and Direct Entry Test preparations.
