The rescheduled 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) began on May 16, but some candidates were unable to sit for the exam.
However, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who missed their exam for valid reasons can request a new date.
In a short statement released on Friday, JAMB encouraged affected candidates not to panic. The board advised them to raise a ticket on its support portal explaining why they missed the exam and stating where they would like to take the rescheduled test.
The statement reads:
“Attention Rescheduled 2025 UTME Candidates! Did you miss your scheduled examination for a genuine reason? Kindly raise a ticket to that effect on support.jamb.gov.ng stating why you missed the session and where you’ll prefer to rewrite the exam.”
It should be noted that this resit was arranged for students whose original exams were affected by a technical error during the 2025 UTME.
