Abuja (Sundiata Post) – JoeB Entertainment Company, on Saturday brought the legendary Eedris Abdulkareem to Jos to grace the regular Saturday night show, tagged “Connect With The Big Ballers”, held at Chillers By Newyorker (A class hotel in Jos).

The artist Abdulkareem, took the privilege to visit the Jos Burnt Market, and gave out over N1 million in cash to the vulnerable crowd that thronged his presence.

However, JoeB, every Saturday brings a legendary artist to Jos to perform at his show.

The “Big Ballers” our correspondent understands, is a show for the big boys in town who naturally listens and patronises legendary artists who revolutionized music in Nigeria.

JoeB who prides himself as the King of Entertainment in the city, has been putting the State in the entertainment map for the past 2 decades.

He called on the State government to join hands in boosting the entertainment industry in order to drive economic growth and development.

He said that the governments’ intervention is critical in promoting the nation’s state rich cultural heritage, adding that the entertainment industry has the potential to rival oil as a major revenue source for Nigeria but without proper support, its growth would remain stunted.

“The entertainment sector in Nigeria is one of the most underutilised resources we have.

“It can provide jobs, boost local economies, and promote our rich cultural heritage to the world,” JoeB said.
