Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The joint National Assembly People’s Democratic Party caucus has thrown it’s weight behind the resolutions of the southern governors forum.
This is also as the group has rejected the removal of electoral transmission of result from the ongoing constitution review process.
The joint caucus is made up of all the members of the PDP from both the House of Representatives and the senate.
The joint caucus also condemned the three percent oil revenue passed by the Senate in the PIB bill for the oil producing communities but aligned itself with the five percent passed by the House of Representatives.
Sundiata Post recalls that the both chambers passed different figures for the oil producing communities in the Petroleum Industrial Bill.
