MINNA – President Goodluck Jonathan says his administration will continue to empower

women in all sectors of the country’s economy.
Jonathan made the promise during his presidential campaign in Minna on Tuesday.
He said women formed part of his administration’s winning team as they were already making immense contributions to the country’s development.
The President added that women would be empowered more if he gets a second term in office.
“PDP is a party for everybody, party for the youths, for the women.
“As President, I see women as friendly genders. My administration has been all about women and youths empowerment through the SURE-P.
“Women and youths must be given the opportunity to participate freely in politics.
“I encourage young people with talents in music, film and soccer industry”, he said.
Jonathan enjoined the people of Niger to give their maximum support to the PDP gubernatorial flag bearer, Alhaji Umaru Nasko.
The President appealed for continuous support for PDP. “It is the only party with the right potentials.’’ (NAN)
