LAGOS (Sundiata Post) – Veteran Nollywood actress Jumoke George has made a heartfelt appeal for assistance, revealing she has been battling homelessness and a severe medical condition for the past six years.

In an emotional interview with actress Biola Bayo shared on YouTube, George disclosed that she has been living in a church and relying on the generosity of the pastor’s wife for food and shelter. Tearfully recounting her ordeal, she said her health has deteriorated since January, requiring urgent tests for her brain and heart costing N400,000 — a sum she cannot afford.

“Everyone please pray for me. I have never done evil to anyone. I need your prayers. I can no longer bear it. I do not have a home or anything. I even lost a whole child,” she lamented.

The actress also opened up about the disappearance of her first child, Adeola, who has been missing for four years. Now, she is solely responsible for caring for Adeola’s children.

“I do not have good health. I am tired and exhausted. I have tried as a Christian. My first child Adéolá has been missing for the past four years. She clocked 41 years. Her children are with me,” she said.

George added that she’s done several medical tests and is left with only the brain and heart tests. “I have been ill since January 2. I have tried my best as a human. I have done several tests. The only one remaining is for the brain and heart, which will cost N400,000. I do not know where to get it. I cannot sleep. I feel pain anytime I try to sleep.”

She revealed she has incurred debts of up to N2 million in a desperate bid to survive.

“I do not have a home. I have been living in church for the last five to six years and the church priestess has been feeding me,” she added.

The actress’s emotional revelations have sparked sympathy online, with many urging support for the Nollywood veteran in her time of need.
