Iseyin (Oyo State)- Litigants and lawyers were on Tuesday stranded at the premises of courts located at Oja in Iseyin Local Government Area of Oyo State following the strike embarked on by judiciary workers.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) had on Monday embarked on an indefinite industrial action to press home its demands.
The demands, according to the union, included financial autonomy for the state judiciary and improved welfare for its members.

“I want to appeal to government and the union to make peace for the sake of justice and the common man whose last hope is the court,’’ a litigant, Adesegun Olaiya, said.
Alaba Olowookere, a 55-year-old divorce-seeking woman, said her case had been heard and she was to get judgment on Tuesday, adding that the strike prevented the court’s sitting. (NAN)
