ABUJA – Kaduna Bees Football Club on Friday gained promotion to the Nigeria National League (NNL) as the 2013/2014 Nigeria Nation Wide League (NNWL) season ended.
The team’s promotion was in spite of its 0-2 loss to FC Abuja in their last match in the Division One (C) of NNWL played at the Area 3, Sports Complex in Abuja.
The Kaduna side qualified to play in the NNL category next season after garnering 37 points during the season which ended on Friday. [eap_ad_1] An elated Chairman of the Bees, Abdulazeez Mohammed, told NAN that he was happy for the success and promotion of the team.
“The boys have made me proud; I feel happy, because I have seen the result of my hard work. I give glory to God for making it possible.
“We need to give them kudos for what they have done and we are going to make sure that they perform very well in the NNL.
“We were able to finish the league with 37 points,’’ he said. (NAN)
