Kano – The Kano State Government has approved N520 million for the provision of infrastructure and office equipment at the Kano University of Science and Technology (KUST) Wudil.
The state Commissioner for Information, Mallam Muhammad Garba, announced this while addressing newsmen on the outcome of the State Executive Council meeting on Thursday in Kano.

Garba said the council had also approved N51 million for the renovation of Government Girls Secondary School Jogana and Government Secondary School Kwankwaso which were recently gutted by fire.
He also said that the council approved N11 million for disbursement to students of the two schools affected by the fires.
“The council also approved N7 million for the accreditation of 21 undergraduate courses at Kano University Science and Technology, Wudil,’’ he said.
He emphasised the government’s determination to develop infrastructure in the state as part of the initiatives to improve the welfare of the people.(NAN)
