KANO – The Kano State Government on Thursday said it had approved over N10 million for the training of 300 farmers in modern bee-keeping.
The state’s Commissioner for Justice, Maliki Kuliya Umar, announced this while briefing journalists on the outcome of the State Executive Council meeting in Kano.
Umar said the Council had also approved N15 million for 2014 cattle vaccination.
He added that the Council also approved N50 million for rehabilitation of the Challawa water works.
The commissioner expressed the government’s determination to develop infrastructure in the state as part of its initiatives to improve the welfare of the people. (NAN)
