Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Special Assistant on New Media to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Pastor Reno Omokri, has berated Ndi’Igbo for not condemning Nnamdi Kanu’s public insult on the former president Goodluck Jonathan who according to him, did so much for Igbos.
He emphasized that not prominent Igbo person has publicly condemned Kanu’s public insult.
Reno who sounded proverbial said, “If you want to walk fast, walk alone, but if you want to walk far, walk with friends not against them” also reminded that since the end of the civil war, is only President Goodluck Jonathan that ever made Ndi’Igbo Secretary to the Government of the Federation, (SGF) and Chief of Army Staff (COAS).
“It is sad Ndi’Igbo kept quiet as Nnamdi Kanu insulted him,” he added.
Reno said this on series of tweets on his twitter handle @renoomokri on Thursday.
According to Reno, “Since the end of the civil war, only @GEJonathan ever made Ndi’Igbo SGF and COAS. It is sad Ndi’Igbo kept quiet as Nnamdi Kanu insulted him.
“Ndi’Igbo should remember the proverb: If you want to walk fast, walk alone. But if you want to walk far, walk with friends not against them!
“Alas, not one prominent Ndi’Igbo has publicly condemned Nnamdi Kanu’s public insult on a @GEJonathan who publicly did so much for Ndi’Igbo!
Sundiata Post recalls that it was in the administration of former president Goodluck Jonathan that an Igbo army officer, Lt-Gen Ihejirika rose and became the Chief of Army Staff since after the civil war.
It was his government that also appointed Senator Anyim Pius Anyim as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
