Kaduna -Kaduna state government has secured a loan of two million dollars from the World Bank to enhance healthcare delivery in the state.
The state’s Commissioner for Health and Human Resources, Dr Andrew Nok, disclosed this to newsmen shortly after the state executive council meeting in Kaduna on Tuesday.
He said that if the fund was properly utilised, it would save no fewer than one million lives across the state and improve health care delivery.
“The state House of Assembly has passed the bill for improved primary healthcare delivery which one million, five hundred thousand dollars was allocated to it,’’ he said.
Speaking on the state’s University’s Faculty of Medicine, Nok said that the state government was working to ensure that the faculty gained full accreditation.

He urged students of the faculty to exercise patience and comply with the government as it would not remain reluctant on any issue that would promote their image educationally or otherwise. (NAN)
