Birnin Kebbi- Alhaji Abdullahi Lamba, the Chief of Staff at the Kebbi Government House, has resigned his appointment of 18 months.

This is contained in the letter of resignation signed by Abdullahi Lamba, which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Birnin Kebbi on Thursday.

He said he “had been redundant doing nothing without any defined schedule of responsibility.

“Going by the prevailing political development in the state and after due consultations, I am compelled to tender my resignation with effect from Nov. 30, 2014.”

He, however, commended Gov. Saidu Dakingari, for appointing him as chief of staff and as an appointee from the Yauri Emirate Council.

NAN reports that Lamba had been a Commissioner for Information and subsequently Chairman of the State Publicity Committee. (NAN)
