Kenya’s shilling stable, seen easing due to energy sector dollar demand

NAIROBI  – The Kenyan shilling remained steady on Monday, but was seen weakening due to a global resurgence of the dollar and demand from the energy sector, traders said.

At 0817 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 101.05/25 against the dollar  little changed from Friday’s close.(Reuters)
