Kidnappers abduct mother, toddler in Kano

Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Gunmen have abducted a 22-year-old woman, Fatima Bello, and her three-year-old daughter, Nana Unaisa, in Malikawa Sarari, Bichi Local Government Area (LGA).

A report from the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Bichi revealed that around six armed assailants stormed the residence of Bello Murtala at about 9:00 p.m. on February 19, firing shots into the air before taking his wife and child away on motorcycles.

A police patrol team led by the DPO responded to the distress call, but the kidnappers had already fled before their arrival.

The police assured that efforts were ongoing to rescue the victims and bring the perpetrators to justice.
