their commitment and dedication to duty.
The state Commissioner for Health, Dr Idris Omede, gave the task in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lokoja.
“The workers needed to remain dedicated and focused to ensure improvement in the health status of[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″] the citizens of the state,’’ Omede said.
However, he commended the staffers of the state Ministry of Health on the successes and achievements recorded in 2014.
The commissioner noted that the success of the ministry had brought accolades to the state from national and international levels.
“The state’s immunisation activities and free rural medical services embarked upon in 2014 were all [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]rated high.
“This could not have been achieved except through the efforts of the ministry’s staff,’’ he said.
Omede said the state government was willing and determined to transform the state within available [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]resources.
He advised the workers to regard government efforts as an intervention and collaborate with it to provide improved healthcare services to people in the state. (NAN)
