Germany midfielder Toni Kroos, has announced that he is moving to Real Madrid after the 2014 World Cup.
The 24-year-old, whose current deal with Bayern Munich expires in 2014, was a permanent fixture in Joachim Low’s side in Brazil, as they lifted the trophy in Brazil.
After the 1-0 win over Argentina, Kroos told UOL: “We’ve finished the World Cup in the best way possible. Now I’m going to Madrid, so that’s two dreams achieved.”
Kroos will reportedly earn £160,000-a-week a week at the Bernabeu, while Madrid will pay Bayern around £20million for his services.
