The Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji AbdulFatah Ahmed, has lost his mother, Hajia Ramotalahi Ahmed at the age of 90.
A statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Abdulwahab Oba, said Hajia Ahmed died yesterday after a brief illness.
The deceased is survived by Alhaji Ayo Ahmed, Alhaja Hajarat Ibraheem, Hajiya Sidikat Sadiq, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed, Abdulrasak Ahmed, Hajiya Binta Atolagbe, Hajiya Nimota Abiara and Hajiya Basheerat Ahmed.
The deceased has since been buried according to Islamic rites in her home town of Share, Kwara State.
