Mohammed said the toll of the strike on the populace was becoming overbearing.
He said since it was merely a sympathy strike, the nurses must consider the plight of thousands of people seeking medical attention and return to work.
Mohammed, however, said that in the interim, some medical doctors and other medical personnel had been strategically stationed at medical centres across the Ilorin metropolis to provide services.
They include the General Hospital and Sobi Specialist Hospital in Ilorin.
He charged the striking nurses to consider the efforts of the present administration aimed at improving their welfare and return to work. (NAN)
