Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The spokesman for the Thirdforce and the National Chairman of National Conscience Party, (NCP) Dr Yunusa Tanko has said that Obi/Datti campaign would leverage on the success of the just concluded two-day retreat organised by the Labour Party, (LP) in Abuja.
He stated that the retreat which was organised for the national leaders of the party, the trade unions and candidates of the Labour Party, “was to ensure synergy and proper coordination when the campaign starts “.
Dr Tanko in a statement described the retreat as very strategic and important as the party was getting prepared to flag off its nationwide campaign.
He noted that the retreat which was similar to the national confrence earlier held for Obi-Datti support groups geared towards ensuring a robust campaign for Labour Party candidates at all levels.
Dr Tanko praised the foresightedness of the Julius Abure led LP leadership in organising the retreat noting the attendance was very impressive.
On the online portal for the pary’s membership registration, the Thirdforce spokesman stressed that it was intended to accommodate the interests of the teaming Nigerians who were desirous of joining Labour Party.
He also assured that Obi’s manifesto would soon be launched, adding that it would form the focal point of the Obi/Datti campaign .
The campaign, according to him would be issue based and not on personal attacks as others have been doing stressing, “we are not fighting anybody because we have good products we are presenting to Nigerians.
