ABUJA – Mr Saleh Dunoma, the Managing Director, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) on Tuesday said the Cargo and Pilgrims’ terminal located at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos would be completed on schedule.
This is contained in a statement issued in Abuja by the Coordinating General Manager, Aviation Parastatals, Mr Yakubu Dati.
Dunoma made this known when he visited the site to inspect the ongoing construction work.
He said that the terminal would sanitise the cargo section and increase business activity.
At the pilgrims’ terminal, Dunoma said that the facility would provide comfortable and decent passage for both Christian and Muslim pilgrims.
“The terminals are designed with special emphases on safety and security for the overall benefit of travellers, airport users as well as goods and services.
“The cargo terminal consists of air cargo section and trans- shipment section,’’ he said.
Dunoma also inspected the general park and courier park of the terminal.
The FAAN boss was accompanied by Dr Uche Ufulue, the Director of Cargo and the Cargo Terminal Manager. (NAN)
