Lagos, FCT, Delta top in new COVID-19 infections as Nigeria’s total cases exceed 29,000

ABUJA (SundiataPost) – Lagos State, which is the epicentre of the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria; the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Delta State on Monday topped list of states with the highest number of new coronavirus cases in Nigeria.

According to the update released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), 575 new cases were confirmed on Monday, out of which Lagos reported 123 cases.
It was closely by FCT with 100 cases with Delta State coming third with 58 new cases.

The total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria is 29,286.
