
LAGOS (SundiataPost) – Lagos has continued to remain the epicentre of COVID-19 in Nigeria, accounting for 209 out of 452 new cases confirmed on Tuesday.
Oyo State came a distant second with 67 new cases.
With the new cases confirmed on Tuesday, Nigeria now has 21,371 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Out of this number, Lagos has 9,037 cases, followed by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with 1,605 while Kano has 1,190.
In addition, death toll from the pandemic now stands at 533 according to the update released by the NCDC late on Tuesday night.
