Plateau – Gov. Simon Lalong of Plateau has advised the citizens and indeed all Christians to be vigilant and law-abiding as they celebrate this year’s Christmas, the Birth of Jesus Christ.
Lalong gave the advice in his Christmas message signed by the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Mr Emmanuel Nanle.

The governor, who called on Christians all over the world to share the love of God this season in celebration of the yuletide, urged them to be conscious of their environment.
He noted that Christmas was not only the commemoration of the birth of the savior of the world but the bringing of joy to mankind in God’s restoration of humanity to himself.
Lalong also advised Christians to emulate this love of God to their fellow human beings, and pursue the Godly character of peace, reconciliation and harmonious living with one another.
The governor reiterated the determination of the APC-led government in the state to fulfill its promises to the people of the state for a just and egalitarian society.
He further wished all Christians a memorable celebration and a prosperous New Year. (NAN)
