LAGOS (Sundiata Post) – Leading online property marketplace in Nigeria, Lamudi, has launched a new service called Dial4Home.
Dial4home is designed to target the increasing population of Nigerians with little or no internet access seeking for easier and cheaper means to find a home through the convenience of their mobile devices.
“Dial4Home will enhance the provision, location and acquisition of a home or property anywhere in Nigeria with just a phone call”, Obi Ejimofor, managing director of Lamudi, stated at the launch of this service held at the Yaba e-centre, Lagos, on Monday.
All a home seeker needs to do is place a phone call to Lamudi’s non-toll free hotlines to state a preferred area of choice and budget, after which available options and contact of estate agents who have the required specification would be sent via sms.
Obi further stated “to prevent any fraudulent intention, the firm will not engage in any financial transaction online.” He advised prospective clients to endeavour to see and verify properties that are being offered to them by agents before making financial commitments, as interactions or interference between the clients and the agents seize once connections through Lamudi have been made.
The new product, Dial4Home, has a tag line -‘You call, we search, go see’, which works as simply as it is put.
With over 40,000 unique property listings, 6000+ sellers and tens of thousands of visitors monthly 35 per cent of which are from international markets, Obi described Dial 4 Home as the best kept secret in the real estate business.
