HADEJIA (JIGAWA) – The remains of the late Katsina State Commissioner of Police, Muhammad Hurdi, have been buried in Hadejia, Jigawa.

Hurdi, 52, died at a hospital in Egypt after a brief illness.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the late police commissioner was buried after a funeral prayer held at the palace of the Emir of Hadejia.

Hundreds of people including the emir, Alhaji Adamu Abubakar, and a former Deputy Governor of the state, Ibrahim Hassan, attended the burial.
Until his death, Hurdi was the Commissioner of Police in Katsina State.
He is survived by two wives and five children. (NAN)
