Ilorin, – A Kwara based legal practitioner, Mr Yusuf Ahmed, has advised Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) to focus more on how to improve people living with disability in the country.Ahmed, who gave the advice in Ilorin on Friday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), said people living with disability deserved special treatment.According to him, most people with disabilities are ignored and not captured during empowerment programmes by NGOs.“There is need to do more for their inclusion to the society. They deserve to feel loved and not ignored.“Empower them with skills and materials needed to survive in life. Extend good gesture to make them feel among and comfortable as members of the society.“NGOs, politicians and government at all levels must prioritise people living with disability. They are talented and can do better in whatever they engage in,” he said. The legal practitioner, however, advised the public to show love to the disabled and stop discrimination against them. (NAN
